Zinox Technologies Limited has acquired a 129,166.925 square feet warehouse in Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos to expand its assembly and production capacity.
The technology company recently signed agreements with other multinational Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to assemble their products and the new facility will play a huge role in this regard. This new arrangement will also domesticate technology and generate employment opportunities for skilled Nigerians.
report in The Guardian says Zinox is also considering deploying Robotics in handling the certification processes in the new assembly plant.
Over the years, Zinox has supplied high-end personal computers (PCs), laptops, workstations, and other accessories to the likes of Shell, Chevron, Total, the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC), Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) among others.

The report also quotes Gideon Ayogu, a spokesman for Zinox, that the new assembly plant will help the company expand its capacity and employ more Nigerians. He went ahead to say they also need the support of the Nigerian people and government to achieve technology independence for Nigeria.
“In addition to plans to deploy Robotics, the new assembly plant will function with the latest technology in line with our Future Visions mandate, which involves anticipating and proactively deploying latest technology to meet the demands of the future consumer,” he said.
The assembly plant is expected to open up by the third quarter of 2018.
